Birthday!

I'm so glad I got to spend my 21st birthday with my husband :)  He made it a very special and memorable birthday.  Cory had class until 3 so I just lounged around the apartment and did a lot of nothing.  Which I loved.  Before he left, Cory made me a 'ono breakfast.  So glad I married a man that can cook.  Sad to say he's more of a natural cook than I am, but oh well.  Haha.  As soon as Cory was done with class, we headed downtown to 16th street mall.  It was such a cool place.  The whole street was turned into a mall for pedestrians only.  I felt like I was in a movie.

It was too cold to take pics, so I borrowed some from the internet.

The restaurant Cory took me to was in here.

I saw a Coyote Ugly, which I thought was very cool.

Cory chose the perfect restaurant for my birthday dinner.  It's called Maggiano's.  I love Italian food.  And Italian people thanks to Jersey Shore and Jerseylicious :)  But the food...bread and pasta.  Yum.

The pasta I got was sooooo good.  The sauce was really different and light.  And the mushrooms had a ton of flavor.

Cory got the chicken parmesan.  He said it was really good.  I don't like red sauce so I didn't try it.  I believe him though.

After dinner, we went bowling with Cory's friends so I could meet all of them.  I'm pretty bad when it comes to bowling so I felt kind of weird having all these people I don't know watch me bend over and throw a ball down a lane.  Haha.  It was kind of awkward and uncomfortable, but I got over it.  After bowling, Cory and I were gonna head home, but his friends asked us to come over.  They said they bought a cake for me so we picked up some ice cream and headed over.  I felt pretty special that these people I barely know got me a cake and sang happy birthday to me!  (The special-ness kind of faded away when one of the girls said they were buying a cake because it was the only way they could get Cory to come over, lol.)  I decided to ignore her and let the special-ness soak in.  Haha.  Whether the cake was for me or Cory, I had a really good birthday.

I'm so blessed to have a loving husband who is willing to do anything for me and who does everything he can to make me feel like a princess, no matter what day it is.  I'm also extremely blessed to have a huge family who loves and supports me in all I do.  This past year was filled with a ton of changes, blessings, and excitement.  I can't wait to see what this next year holds for me :)
